CLAT Result 2026: Consortium to Release CLAT Results Soon, Check Expected Date and Time

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) will announce the results for the CLAT 2026 examination on 17th December 2025. More than 92,000 candidates had registered for CLAT 2026, and 88,657 students appeared for the CLAT 2026 Exam on 7 December 2025 out of which 75,009 took the undergraduate test, while 17,335 appeared for the postgraduate examination. As per the reports of Senior officials from National Law Universities (NLUs), the CLAT Result 2026 are expected to be released by 10 am. Candidates who have appeared for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) can check the results from the official website.

Steps to Check the CLAT 2026 Exam Result 

While downloading the results for the CLAT Entrance exam 2026, candidates need to follow the steps. 

Step 1: Access the official website of the Consortium of National Law Universities, which is consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Step 2: On the website, click on the CLAT 2026 results available on the homepage. 

Step 3: Enter all the details, like registered mobile number and password. 

Step 4: Submit the login details.

Step 5: After submitting all the details, the results for the CLAT Exam 2026 will be displayed on the candidate’s laptop screen. 

Step 6: Download and save the scorecard for future use.

CLAT Exam 2026 Counselling Process 

After declaring the Results, the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) will open their registration windows for the counselling of the CLAT 2026. Candidates need to register online and provide their preferences for the National Law University (NLU) and programmes. The Consortium of National Law Universities conducts the counselling in multiple rounds for the seat allotments.

Each NLU will release cutoffs round-wise during the counselling process, which varies upon the different factors, like institution, category and availability of seats. Candidates who get the seats in any of the NLUs need to complete the document verification and pay the fees within the given time frame to confirm their admission.
