CTET Result 2026: Check Scorecard, Result Date, Cutoff

The CTET result 2026 expected date will be announced on March 2026 in the form of an eligibility certificate and a marksheet. Candidates will be able to check the results on the official website ctet.nic.in of the CTET & CBSE. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will also upload these result on the “Digilocker” to make them more accessible to the candidates.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the CTET 2026 result on February 2026. The CTET exam 2026 is set to be held on 8 February 2026. After its completion, candidates who appeared in the examination will be able to check and download their results on the official website of CTET & CBSE. These results will also be available in the candidate’s DigiLocker and Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG) portals, so candidates can access them there too.

These results will be valid for a lifetime; that means candidates can apply for teaching jobs in central government schools whenever they want to. Schools that are run by the central government, for example, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), accept the CTET scores. Step 1. First, candidates need to head to the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in or they can also check their results in their DigiLocker.

Step 2. Go to the result section of the website.

Step 3. Click on the “CTET 2026 results” option.

Step 4. Log in using the candidate’s login credentials (e.g., registration number and password/date of birth)

Step 5. Enter the student’s roll number and password to check the CTET 2026 results

Step 6. Download and print the scorecard for the further admission process.

The CTET Result 2026 is expected to be released on February 2026, according to the past year's trends. After the result release date, students will be able to check their scores on the official website of the university by simply entering their respective roll numbers.

What’s Next after the results?

After the announcement of the CTET 2026 results, qualified candidates will be eligible to apply for teaching jobs in central government schools all over the country. But the eligibility of the candidate will be re-verified by the concerned authority during the hiring process.

Also, CTET has no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking, so candidates cannot challenge the authority in any case. But candidates can get a copy of their responses and the answer sheet by paying INR 500, which is not refundable.

CTET 2026 Counseling Process

There is no counseling process after the CTET 2026 results are declared. So, candidates can simply just start applying to the central government schools for a teaching job. They will be re-verified and interviewed during the hiring process. If they clear all these step,s they will be hired to teach 1st-8th standard.
