DSCE BTech Admission 2025

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has announced admissions for the 2025-26 academic session for its BTech program. The admission to the BTech program is done through entrance tests that are conducted by state and national level entrance exams like CET and COMMED-K. Students can apply for the application process directly through the official website, and the last date for this application is 31 July 2025, and the application fee is INR 1000. 

The eligibility required for the BTech program is passing of Class 12th class in PUC / CBSE / ISCE board with a minimum of 45% for general (40% for SC/ST category) marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The counselling process includes document verification and seat allotment by the respective authorities.

• For Karnataka SC/ST/OBC students: minimum 40% marks required
• Management quota needs 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths
• Must pass Physics, Chemistry, and Maths individually for the management quota

DSCE BTech Entrance Exam

Students are required to complete Class 12 with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved category) in Physics and Mathematics. DSCE admits students through two main entrance exams - CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Karnataka Government and COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka). Students with good ranks in these entrance tests get admission to the college.

lDSCE offers lateral entry option for diploma holders through CET, which allows direct admission to the 3rd semester. This lateral entry process happens in July or August every year.
