Admissions for various BTech disciplines such as IT, BE, AI and Data Science etc are open. Seat allotment for BTech course will be done through TNEA. Admission to BTech for its offered disciplines is entirely merit-based and depends on the marks acquired in Class 12.

TNEA began its registration process on 07 May 2025 and closed its registration process on  06 June 2025. TNEA is in the middle of the admission process currently going through certificate verification, which is expected to be over by 20 June 2025.

The TNEA counselling will be conducted online. Counselling process for Government (7.5%) Special Reservation Categories started on 7 July 2025 and will continue till 8 July 2025. General Special Reservation Categories counselling is going to start from 9 July to 11 July 2025. Counselling for the General Category starting from 14 July to 19 July 2025. Supplementary & SCA to SC Counseling will be conducted from 21 July to 26 July 2025. Classes for the BTech course for the session 2025-26 are expected to commence by August 2025.
