GATE Result 2026: The GATE Result 2026 will be declared on 19 March 2026 (Thursday). The GATE entrance exam is scheduled on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. Candidates can check their respective scorecards through the official GOAPS portal 'gate2026.iitg.ac.in'. Students can view and download their GATE 2026 result by logging in to the official portal with their Enrollment ID and password. IIT Guwahati, the organizer for the GATE 2026 exam, will release the result on its official GATE portal, GOAPS. All the students appearing in the exam must note that the last date to download their scorecard is 31 December 2026.

GATE Result Validity 2026
The GATE 2026 scorecard is valid for 3 years from the date of the result announcement. The candidates with qualifying GATE 2026 scorecards are eligible for direct PhD programs at IITs, IIITs, NITs, and IISc, and master’s programs (M.Tech, MS, and ME). In addition to this, the GATE 2026 scores are used for recruitment by Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The rank scored in the GATE 2026 exam is further used for the counselling and seat allocation process.
As the validity of the scorecard is for 3 years only, candidates are advised to participate in the counselling and seat allocation process within the given time.
