GITA BTech Admission 2025

GITA Autonomous College offers BTech admissions under two main categories:

1. OJEE Counselling

Candidates seeking admission through merit must apply and register for OJEE counselling. Seat allotment is done based on JEE Main 2025 scores, and students need to have at least 45% marks in Class 12 exams from a recognised board. Students must lock in their choices and select GITA Autonomous College as a preferred option during the counselling process.

2. Management Quota

Candidates who do not participate in OJEE counselling or do not get a seat through it may apply for admission through the Management Quota directly at the college. A valid JEE Main score is generally preferred, but it is not mandatory.

GITA BTech Eligibility Criteria 2025

GITA follows BPUT and OJEE norms for BTech eligibility. Below are the eligibility criteria for the BTech program:

Regular Entry (1st Year)

• Candidates must pass Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board.
• Core subjects should include Physics and Mathematics, along with one of Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject.
• A minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects combined is required.
• A valid JEE Main 2025 score is mandatory for admission through OJEE counselling.

Lateral Entry (Into the 2nd Year of BTech Program)

• Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognised institute with at least 45% marks.
• Candidates with B.Sc. degrees (with Mathematics in 12th) are also eligible.
• Admission is through OJEE Lateral Entry counselling or under the Management Quota.

GITA BTech Entrance Exam 2025

GITA College does not conduct its entrance exam. BTech admissions are primarily based on the following:

• OJEE Counselling: The counselling requires a valid JEE Main 2025 score. Students must participate in the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) counselling process.
• Lateral Entry: Lateral Entry into the BTech program requires appearing in the OJEE Lateral Entry Test or direct admission under the management quota.

How to Apply for BTech Admission at GITA

The admission process to BTech at GITA College is detailed below:

Through OJEE Counselling:

1. Register for JEE Main 2025 and appear for the exam.
2. Apply for OJEE counselling on the official OJEE portal.
3. Fill choices by selecting GITA Autonomous College and preferred BTech branches.
4. Seat allotment will be based on rank and availability.
5. After allotment, report to the institute with documents and pay the fee to confirm admission.

Through Management Quota:

1. Visit the official website or contact the admission office.
2. Download and fill out the application form or apply online.
3. Submit your academic documents and valid ID proof.
4. Pay the admission processing fee.
5. Seats will be allotted based on merit and availability.
6. Confirm admission by paying the tuition fee and submitting the required documents.
