IIM Udaipur Admission 2026

IIM Udaipur runs several courses to fulfill candidates needs, and the admission process of each of its courses varies. The two-year full-time MBA admission is processed through the IIM Common Admission Process (CAP), which considers the valid CAT entrance exam score. The CAT entrance exam was held on 20 September 2025 to take admission for the academic session 2026. For admission in MBA or PhD for the 2026 academic session, candidates can prepare themselves for the upcoming CAT exam on 30th November 2025. Similarly, the PhD program also considers the valid score for accepted entrance exams CAT /GMAT/GRE/NET-JRF. 

The admission for the MBA program starts from 7 April 2026 and it will continue till June 2026. However, admission for PhD programs starts earlier, and application begins on 11th November 2025* for the academic session 2026.

Those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria, like a bachelor’s degree, require a percentile, and a valid entrance exam score, need to go through multiple stages of the admission process (MBA Executive). First, they have to submit the online application mentioning their academic detail, entrance exam score, etc., by paying the application fee of INR 1,000.

The college conducts a shortlisting process for candidates based on their submitted application forms. Those who are shortlisted will be invited for a personal interview. The final admission offer letter is then issued based on several factors, including overall academic performance, entrance exam scores (such as CAT, GMAT, or IIMU), work experience, and the results of the personal interview.

IIM Udaipur Eligibility Criteria: MBA and Executive MBA

Candidates seeking admission in MBA or any of the courses in the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur must fulfil the eligibility criteria for the course. Different course has their own eligibility criteria for admission. 

However, for a full-time MBA program applicant must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% or equivalent to CGPA. The institute also considers the CAT entrance exam score in the admission process.

The selection criteria for the MBA program in IIM Udaipur follow the common admission process (CAP), which includes the CAT score, personal interview, and written test score. After processing each of the selection stages, the institute makes a merit list of candidates for admission to the MBA program.

In this initial stage of the selection process, the admissions committee checks the applications, highlighting academic qualifications, entrance exam scores.

Stage 2: Written Analysis

Selected candidates in the first stage will be invited for a written test, which includes depth in analysis and writing skills.

Based on written test performance, candidates will be invited for virtual interviews.

Stage 4: Physical interviews

Candidates selected in virtual interviews are invited for physical personal interviews at the IIMU campus.
